Cookie & Storage Notice

Current status

Effective: 2 November 2026. Alsalibi Connect currently does not load optional advertising or analytics cookies on its own website. The storage listed below is used for requested features, security or user preferences.

Necessary cookies

alsalibi_session — secure, HttpOnly session cookie used to keep an authenticated account signed in; normally up to 24 hours.

alsalibi_google_state and short-lived linking/state cookies — security cookies used during Google OAuth to prevent request forgery and account-linking mix-ups; normally around 10 minutes or removed after completion.

alsalibi_language — preference cookie used to remember the language you selected. It contains only the language code and can be changed by selecting another language or cleared in your browser.

Local and session storage

The browser may store interface preferences such as language, theme, control preferences, a referral identifier and temporary controller-room state. This information supports the interface or a feature you requested. A local value also remembers that you dismissed the storage notice; dismissing the notice is not consent to optional tracking.

Legal basis and optional tracking

Storage/access that is strictly necessary to provide a digital service you expressly request is used under the statutory necessity exception of §25(2) TDDDG; related personal-data processing is based on the GDPR grounds described in the Privacy Policy. If non-essential analytics, marketing or similar tracking is introduced, it must remain disabled until any legally required opt-in has been obtained, and withdrawal must be available for the future.
